Cashback promised, confirmed, then never paid
I used ProviderCheck to switch my internet provider, drawn in by their advertised cashback offer. The comparison and switching side worked fine. The cashback was a different story: I received an email confirming I qualified, and they later told me the amount had been transferred — yet nothing ever arrived in my account. Confirming a payment that never lands isn't a small oversight; it's a promise broken twice over. I'd have used the service to compare providers regardless, so there was no need to dangle a cashback they didn't honour. Companies should advertise only what they actually deliver. Disappointing — I can't recommend relying on their cashback claims. Update - Received reponse from them that they debited the amount, Need to validate with the bank now.
